Danil “donk” Kryshkovets gave a positive assessment of the Counter-Strike 2 update, in which the developers replaced the Overpass map with Cache in the competitive map pool.
The
Team Spirit player shared his thoughts on the update on Telegram.
“Cool update. I’m glad they removed Overpass. Inferno would be better, of course, but this is fine too. I didn’t like Overpass.”
According to Danil “donk” Kryshkovets, the esports player would have preferred that the developers remove the Inferno map instead of Overpass. Nevertheless, the player was satisfied with Valve’s decision, as he also dislikes the Overpass map. It’s worth noting that the other
Team Spirit players also expressed similar views on the new update, giving the new map a positive review.
As a reminder, Danil “donk” Kryshkovets previously took the blame for
Team Spirit’s loss in the semifinals of the IEM Cologne Major 2026 Counter-Strike 2 tournament.
