Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin considers the new Dark Carnival event in Dota 2 to be rather mediocre.
The player shared this opinion on Telegram.
“A few words about the event. It’s just another event. Crownfall or Dark Carnival—it makes no difference. The sets are a matter of personal taste, so check them out for yourselves. Personally, I won’t be spending any money on it because there’s nothing interesting there at all. They’d be better off nerfing Lone Druid already than releasing this. Although it’s fine for regular players.”
According to a statement by Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin, the esports player doesn’t see a significant difference between Dark Carnival and Crownfall, and also believes that the event’s rewards may not appeal to all players. DM added that he isn’t willing to spend his own money on paid content in Dark Carnival, and thinks the developers would be better off making important changes to the Dota 2 meta.
As a reminder, Vladimir “Maelstorm” Kuzminov previously shared his thoughts on the Dark Carnival event in Dota 2.
