Developer of Dota 2 suddenly revealed how to solve one of the most persistent problems in the game

Software engineer Jeff Hill from Valve shared a way to combat input lag in Dota 2 using the console.
He shared his method with the community on Reddit, explaining the steps players need to take.
To fix input lag in Dota 2, according to the developer, you need to follow a few simple steps.
How to get rid of input lag in Dota 2:
Go to Steam and right-click on Dota 2, opening properties. In launch options, type "-console" and click OK to save the changes.
Enter the game and open the console with the "~" key.
Enter the command "cl_clock_recvmargin_enable 0" in the command line and press Enter.
Close the console, and you can play; the problem should be resolved.
Many users noted that this method indeed helped eliminate the issue and thanked the developers. However, some users reported that this approach did not work for them. Nevertheless, Hill emphasized that Valve is aware of the problem and is working on a solution.
It's worth noting that input lag is a delay between pressing the mouse button and the action appearing on the screen. It mainly occurs during movement and can be caused by various factors, including electrical system peculiarities. Despite the community's hopes for a fix in patch 7.35c, it did not happen.
Interestingly, a new critical bug affecting gameplay was discovered in the latest patch.
