Danil «Dendi» Ishutin, the captain of B8 Esports, commented on the situation with the departure from NiP of Akbar «SoNNeikO» Butaev and rumors about the sale of VP.Prodigy for the B8 organization podcast with Igor “BadPlaya” Gorevoy.
Danil highlighted that Akbar, as a captain, raised the level of NiP game very well, but the reasons for Sonneiko leaving from the team are still unknown:
I can assume that the guys caught the star, and decided that they can do it anyway. They ceased to trust and listen, began to argue with Akbar. He didn’t like it. This is the option if he left. But if he was removed, then what should be the reason? Not to say that NiP played super-hard, but he normally raised their skills. Some of the players before him, didn`t show any results at all, and then they began to win in many games. There was progress. Sonneiko is an authoritarian captain. He is a very nice guy: very kind, positive, but at the same time authoritarian. He wants to completely play the game, although it may have changed, he wants it to be “in my opinion”. At least I have such a feeling, I can be wrong.
In addition, Ishutin expressed his opinion about the rumors about the sale of VP.Prodigy:
If they were given a choice, they would play by themselves, definitely. Well, or become the main roster of Virtus.pro, but who will allow them. The distance is too short to make any conclusion. But I would leave those guys who brought up this whole thing. Main roster.
