In patch 7.36c, Danil "Dendi" Ishutin, the captain of
B8 and an outstanding Dota 2 professional player was shocked by Valve’s decision to nerf his signature hero
Pudge. Since then, this hero has begun losing win rate in Dota 2 matchmaking.
He shared his emotions on his X page.
“Valve??? Pudge??? Nerf??? Why???”
This has been a surprising decision from game developers, nevertheless. The Flayers Hook facet of the hero was weakened in patch 7.36c as opposed to what happened during the last Dota 2 update where he had been buffed and no longer moves faster on his hook.
This impacted negatively on how the character performed in matches. His performance had been top with increasing winning percentage for some time but once that patch came out it went down by over two percent and does not want to stop any soon.
The reason why Dendi is so emotional about it all is this is not only a nerf to his favorite character but also one of his favourite heroes. This renowned player selected him numerous times while going for Dota 2 matchmaking games.
