The world’s first Deadlock tournament featuring prominent Dota 2 players is about to begin

BetBoom has announced the first BetBoom Deadlock Cup tournament for Deadlock, with a prize pool even before the official release of Valve's new game.
This information was shared on the event's official Telegram channel.
The mini-tournament will feature a prize pool of around $7,000. Most participants will be streamers, but notable Dota 2 esports players will also compete, including Gleb "Kiyotaka" Zyryanov, Andrey "Afoninje" Afonin, and Vladlen "Mariachi" Grebenkov.

Four teams will compete in total, and the tournament will start on September 3, before the game has even been released from closed testing.
