Meeponegeroi, a well-known streamer, has combined the gameplay and heroes of Deadlock and Dota 2 into one game, creating a sensation. Many fans are urging Valve to implement DEADLOCK EXPERIMENTAL as an official mode in Dota 2.
He showcased the gameplay during a live stream on YouTube.
The footage reveals that the standard Dota 2 map serves as the foundation, but there are several significant differences. In addition to the classic heroes, characters from Deadlock have been added to the roster. Moreover, players can switch to a third-person perspective and use attacks and movements similar to a shooter. As in the regular mode, players can collect wisdom and wealth runes, go for Roshan, and engage in other familiar activities on the map.
Fans were so thrilled that they couldn't contain their excitement and called on Valve in the comments to make this custom mode an official feature. Despite the creation being relatively new, anyone interested can already play it in the Steam Workshop by installing DEADLOCK EXPERIMENTAL.
It seems that this unusual blend will be popular, which could prompt Valve to consider launching an event or special mode that combines Deadlock and Dota 2 in one of their games in the future.
