Dastan commented on Team Spirit’s defeat

Dastan “dastan” Akbaev believes that Danil “donk” Kryshkovets is trying his best to secure victories for Team Spirit in Counter-Strike 2, but his new teammates need to contribute more to the team’s results.

The player shared this opinion in an interview with HLTV.

“I can't say much about Team Spirit because I know them, and they're from the same country as my guys. Back when I was with Virtus.pro, they beat us every time at LAN events. I think the new players need to help donk a lot more, and they need to show a higher level of play.”

According to Dastan “dastan” Akbaev, Boris “magixx” Vorobyev needs more time to learn how to handle the captain’s responsibilities. The PARIVISION coach recommends that he pay attention to the leaders of other teams in the top 10 of the pro scene. Dastan also believes that there are currently differing opinions within Team Spirit regarding the team’s strategies.

“As for magixx as captain—he needs time. Being an IGL takes many years; even if you look at the leaders of other teams in the top 10, many of them have been playing for about 10 years. magixx may have been playing for a long time, but the role of in-game leader takes time.

I think donk wants to win titles—right now, there’s a big difference in vision. I can’t say they know better than me, and I don’t want to speak ill of them; I think they’re still a good team. I don’t know, donk is performing at a very high level—he’s a top-tier player—and the rest of the guys just need to play, at least in my opinion, at a 1.00 rating.”

As a reminder, Dastan “dastan” Akbaev previously spoke about PARIVISION’s position on the Counter-Strike 2 pro scene.
