Dastan commented on the conflict with Yekindar, revealing new details

Dastan “Dastan” Akbaev confirmed that there really was a misunderstanding between him and Marek “Yekindar” Galinskis before the match at BLAST Bounty Winter 2026, but all the conflict moments are already resolved.

He revealed the details of the situation on his Telegram channel.

“There was a situation… The media blew this moment up. We had a small misunderstanding because of an incident before the match. I approached before the match to settle the conflict. Maybe I should have gone after the match. Me and Marek never had misunderstandings or hostility. He will definitely confirm this. We always joked, everything was fine, will keep joking. We talked, everything cleared up. That’s life guys. Sometimes these moments happen. Marek is our guy. We support Molodoy, Furia. Probably sometimes emotions, nerves before the match”

Dastan noted that although some incident happened before the match, in the end the situation was resolved. The coach emphasized that maybe it was better to wait until the end of the match, then the situation wouldn’t cause so much resonance.

He didn’t reveal what exactly caused the refusal to shake hands, but in the end the rifler and coach reconciled. Dastan believes that the tension at the tournament and nerves before the match were to blame.
