Justinas “jL” Lekavicius, a well-known player on the CS2 pro scene, said that he plans to return to a tier-1 team already in the summer of 2026.
He spoke about this in an interview with HLTV.
“I don’t want to go into too many details, but in theory I should return in summer, if everything goes well. I’m supposed to play on the tier-1 scene, but if that doesn’t happen I will just keep streaming and making content. I don’t feel like I was far away from the game or that I’m not in my best form”
jL said that he expects to play in a tier-1 team this summer, but he didn’t reveal any specific details about the possible roster. At the same time he admitted that the plans might not happen, and in that case he will continue streaming and creating content.
According to him, he does not think that he lost his skill during the time away from the pro scene and believes he can still perform at the same high level.
It is also worth noting that the player has technically already returned, as he is currently playing as a stand-in for Team Liquid at the Roman Imperium Cup 6.
