There should have been a player with leadership qualities who is involved in the draft. So he sat with Mag, getting ready for games and drafts. And in the game plan - there must be a high-skill player.

In addition, Crystallize added why they decided to choose Immersion and young G:
He will be a leader more. He expressed a desire and is ready to do it. And the mid player should be skilled, first of all. He shouldn't decide for the macro. He should stand well on the line, understand well at certain times what he needs to win. We decided to try with Nikita, because there are not so many mid players left in CIS countries, which are new and there is some kind of credit trust in them.
Krystanek said that, first of all, the team wanted to play with Vitaliy "so bad" Oshmankevich, but since he had not played on the professional scene for a long time, NaVi decided not to stop on one person:
Of the “POS-4” first of all we wanted to play with so bad. He was the one we needed: captain and drafter. He suited us. The only thing - he didn’t play on the pro scene for a very long time. He said that he was not ready yet. He needs some time. We decided Immersion was better at the moment.
