Valve has unveiled a new treasure trove named the Crownfall Collector’s Cache, dedicated to the release of the third act of the Crownfall event in Dota 2. This cache contains various cosmetic items categorized into five levels.
The official announcement was posted on the Dota 2 website.
In total, the cache includes 16 sets that were selected by players themselves during a community vote. Each set features its own unique visual effects, but special attention has been drawn to
Juggernaut and
Pudge, which have caused a sensation within the Dota 2 community.
How to Obtain the Crownfall Cache
Players can purchase the Crownfall chests from the in-game store. Each chest contains its own set of heroes with a certain chance of dropping specific sets for each hero. The rarity of the drop directly affects the probability of obtaining a particular set or courier.
Cost of the Crownfall Cache
In the Dota 2 in-game store, the cache costs $2.49-3, but prices may vary depending on the region. Each chest contains a set of items for a list of heroes.
The Collector’s Cache includes sets for heroes such as:
Templar Assassin
Phantom Assassin
Meepo
Naga Siren
Grimstroke
Nyx Assassin
Marci
Snapfire
Night Stalker
Queen of Pain
Tiny
Anti-Mage
Luna
Juggernaut
Pudge
How to Obtain the Crownfall Cache for Free
Players can obtain the Crownfall Cache for free during the storyline event. It's worth noting that this method allows players to receive two chests, each with chances for rare drops.
Rewards in the Crownfall Cache
In the chests, there are a total of 16 new items that alter the appearance of heroes. All items vary in rarity, so the chances of obtaining certain sets may be very low. Obtaining the desired reward may require opening multiple caches. The coveted prize is the
Pudge set – Aberrant Observer, considered an ultra-rare drop from the cache.
