Andreas Frank “Cr1t-” Nielsen stated that The International 2026 will likely be the last tournament for Team Falcons’ current roster.

The player made this statement on Twitch.

“I think it was mostly individual work leading up to TI15. We also understand that this will most likely be the last tournament for this roster. We’ve been playing together for so long that we all kind of get it: we need to… It’s time to make a change, you know? Yes, the record for the longest time playing with the same roster is an important achievement. We’ve played together for three years and participated in three TI tournaments. So, in a way, there’s some pressure there. And when you start losing matches because of that, the best thing you can do is just be a good teammate, try to be ready for the game, and try to handle the situation.

Every team discussed this after TI, so we started having those conversations too. You make changes because you want to get stronger, you want to get better, you want to improve, and you want to refine the role distribution. But for us, given the success we’ve achieved, it’s hard to look at someone and say, “Oh yeah, if we replace this guy, we’ll be better.” I think some players on the team need that right now. So I think it’s perfectly natural.”

According to a statement by Andreas Frank “Cr1t-” Nielsen, the team values its achievement of setting the record for the longest run with an unchanged roster, but now the Team Falcons players realize that the need for change has been long overdue.
