Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov stated that the decision to replace Nikita “Panto” Balaganin on
Team Spirit was made by the organization’s management, but the team supported this decision unanimously.
The player made this statement on YouTube.
“After Spirit was eliminated from PGL Wallachia 7, Korb3n messaged me saying the team would be making changes—we’d need to play a couple of test matches. I was like, ‘Okay, fine.’
So we made the changes, swapped out a player, and now we’ll have a new player. I’m feeling optimistic—just like everyone else—because we all agreed with the decision. It was unanimous, and we decided to test this player. I think everything will be fine. I was satisfied with everything during the tests.”
It’s worth noting that Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov’s statement was made even before the start of the DreamLeague 29 tournament, where the team took third place after the substitution. The esports player views the team’s prospects with Alexey “Not me” Kosmyinin positively, as the new teammate performed well during the trials.
As a reminder, Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov previously spoke about Alexey “Not me” Kosmyinin’s strange behavior at
Team Spirit’s boot camp.
