Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov stated that during the Major in May 2022, a conflict arose between
Team Spirit players that the team was unable to resolve for a long time. Although the team managed to temporarily resolve the situation, disagreements between the members of the roster arose again before The International 2022 for the same reasons.
The player spoke about this on Twitch.
"We had a conflict after TI at the Stockholm Major in May 2022. After the tournament, we decided to talk to each other and tried to resolve our issues. It didn't work out completely because after that conversation, we still had the same problems, but then, after the DPC season, Riyadh, and the Major in Arlington, the problems were fixed. But then they reappeared before TI11. Same story."
At The International 2022,
Team Spirit had one of their worst results, finishing in the top 16. However, the team finished first in the previous event in the series, as well as in the subsequent TI12.
Miroslav “Mira” Kolpakov also confirmed numerous conflicts within
Team Spirit, explaining them with a very long and difficult boot camp.
“Yes, we had the longest boot camp of our lives. We were in Malaysia for a month. It was a hellish boot camp. I think everything we went through just came to nothing because we had conflicts every day at that boot camp. It was the worst atmosphere in the team's history.”
Earlier, Anton “Dyrachyo” Shredov predicted
Team Spirit's victory at the Riyadh Masters and The International 2025. The player believes that the team will return to its former form and achieve success at the most important tournaments of the year.
