Collapse named the main problem of the current Dota 2 meta, comparing it to how it was before

Magomed «Collapse» Khalilov, the offlaner of Team Spirit, noted that the current meta has become incredibly boring, and for the first 15 minutes of the match he doesn’t even need to be with the team, just farm.

The two-time Dota 2 world champion said this in a post-match interview at PGL Wallachia 6.

«In the third game I realized that I play a hero who doesn’t even need to be with the team for the first 15 minutes, its like playing Dawnbreaker. And I dont understand the offlane meta, where you just AFK-farm and dont need to do anything. Before, at the start of my career, I played Mars and Axe and ran nonstop with Blink Dagger. And now its just boring. You only need to last hit. I feel like a second carry»

Collapse explained that the overpowered Centaur Warrunner now can just walk around the map and farm, which became the new meta. The player noted that he doesnt like this situation, because before he had to move around the map quickly and combine efforts with teammates, but now everything is built on boring farming.

It’s worth noting that Centaur Warrunner actually brought Team Spirit the victory, which even the team coach mentioned, calling him an unbeatable hero.
