Collapse made an honest confession about the changes within Team Spirit

Magomed "Collapse" Khalilov, the offlaner for Team Spirit, admitted that he no longer picks his own heroes at tournaments; instead, it’s done for him, even though he used to handle drafting himself.

The esports player shared this during an interview at The International 2024.

"Recently, I haven’t been choosing my hero; they do it for me. They just ask me if the hero fits the draft. Sometimes, I see a situation where my signature hero would be a good fit, so I ask for it. If it’s good for the draft, they’ll pick it"

He admitted that these changes have only happened recently, but his opinion is still considered. The two-time world champion emphasized that if he requests his signature hero or the one he wants, it’s likely that the team will draft it.

It seems that responsibilities within Team Spirit have indeed shifted, with the captain and coach now taking on drafting duties, although players still participate in discussions.

It’s worth noting that earlier, Team Spirit manager revealed that the club paid for special conditions at The International 2024.
