Collapse commented on his role change to mid-laner in Team Spirit

Magomed "Collapse" Khalilov, the offlaner for Team Spirit, admitted that he did not enjoy playing the mid role, as there was too little farm, although he acknowledged that he had some experience in that role before switching for The International 2024.

He shared this in a new Team Spirit vlog on YouTube.

"I had at least some experience playing mid, I used to play Magnus mid sometimes. It's definitely more pleasant to play offlane, where you farm more. In mid, you look at your net worth and think, 'Damn, I'm poor,' whereas in offlane, you think, 'Damn, I'm rich'"

According to him, he found the extremely low net worth in mid unfamiliar, so even though he performed excellently in that role at TI13, he does not plan to switch to it permanently. It’s worth noting that during The International 2024, the two-time world champion unexpectedly took on the mid role instead of Denis "Larl" Sigitov and played Kunkka in the match against G2 x iG.
