Chopper commented on WW Team’s offer

Leonid “Chopper” Vishnyakov stated that he currently has no plans to become WW Team’s full-time coach, and that the discussions about the offer were just a joke.

The player’s statement was published on Offstage.

“The offer from WW was just a joke. I don’t plan on working there full-time, but let’s not rule anything out!

My impressions are incredibly positive. Standing behind the guys who are so passionate about the game (not all of them) was incredibly emotional. I got to test myself a bit in this new role—what it’s like to watch the game from the sidelines.

The guys did a great job; they reminded me of when I was 13 or 14, back when we’d travel to tournaments with almost entirely mixed lineups and play with all our hearts. I believe that anyone can play at Tier 1—it’s a matter of priorities, time, and commitment to the process. Speaking specifically, I’ve mentioned Deko and Ktom in many places. I’m confident they could easily compete on the Tier 1 scene.”

Nevertheless, Leonid “Chopper” Vishnyakov noted that he doesn’t rule out the possibility of working as a coach in the future, as he’s realized his potential in that role. The esports player is satisfied with his work with the WW Team roster and believes the players have great potential.

As a reminder, Leonid “Chopper” Vishnyakov previously commented on Team Spirit’s loss in the grand final of BLAST Bounty Summer 2026.
