Chopper gave an unoptimistic prediction about donk on the CS2 pro scene

Leonid “chopper” Vishnyakov said that the chances of Danil “donk” Kryshkovets becoming the best player of 2026 are very low right now, due to not very strong performances from Team Spirit.

He talked about this during his stream on Twitch.

“Will donk become top 1 this year? For now chances are low. Everything depends on team results. What will Spirit do if donk leaves because of no trophies? Thats the most interesting question. I think it wont happen. Spirit understands how this works, and will try to prevent it”

Chopper emphasized that even despite the lack of success, donk is unlikely to leave the club. He explained this by saying that the organization sees the situation and will find ways to keep the star player in the CS2 roster.

It is worth noting that Team Spirit havent won a single tournament in 2026, so donk chances to become number one still looks quite unrealistic compared to the previous season.
