Chimera Esports head coach Kirill “Alagon” Pavlik confessed that he figured out how to beat
Team Spirit at DreamLeague Season 25 by playing a pub game with
BetBoom Team carry, Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko.
He went on to say this on Luka "Lukawa" Nasuashvili's stream.
“I was playing a hidden pool ranked game at 3 a.m. and ended up with Pure. I picked Io and had to force him to pick Marci. I had no idea that this part of the game—I mean, when she jumps and hits three times with Fleeting Fury, and everyone plays through Pick-me-up. For offlaners, we absolutely obliterated the offlane in about 10 minutes, and I told him, ‘Bro, Yatoro is ****** against this strat tomorrow,’ and they started cracking up. So I Io + Marci the next day and we ******. That’s how ideas come – from the bottom of the hidden pool”
It was after this pub game with Pure that Pavlik claims
Chimera Esports developed the plan to counter Illya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk. While Pure and other players scoffed, assuming it wouldn’t work, Alagon’s team managed to beat
Team Spirit on the final map, accomplishing the impossible.
Earlier, Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov disclosed that Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov was said to have been presented with the option of participating in a 322 plot.
