Ceb made harsh comments about his own team after OG's failure at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024

Sebastian "Ceb" Debs, captain of OG, admitted that his team was not on par with other teams at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024. The esports players were not prepared for such a level of play, and their strategies did not work in most cases.

This statement came in a post-match interview with the Dota 2 world champion after their elimination from the tournament.

"Even for us, it's hard to understand why things should be going better, but they're not. This applies to fights, sequences, and even the map globally. I think as a team, we weren't on the same level as the best teams we had to face"

He explained this by mentioning that his team qualified for the tournament through qualifiers, and the level of opponents there was radically different.

"We came from the qualifiers, which are really good teams, but they don't have the same meta. And sometimes there's not an equal understanding of things that the teams here at the tournament understand. So many moves that we came up with fell apart on the very first day. We had to adapt"

He also acknowledged that his team's performance was really disappointing, and while he supports the players, he expressed his dissatisfaction with the situation in blunt terms.
