Ceb Addressed the Players of OG’s New Roster

Sebastian “Ceb” Debs urged his new teammates on the OG roster not to lose heart after losses to the pro scene’s top favorites, but to use those defeats to become better.

The player’s speech is posted on the esports organization’s page on X.

“We need to keep playing against PARIVISION. We need to keep playing against Team Yandex and lose to them 14 times. There’s nothing wrong with that, you know? I want you to come out stronger after these losses.

Because if you get weaker because of these losses, you’re essentially drawing a line and saying, ‘I’m not going to get any better than this.’ Because once you cross that line, your emotions and your ego take over. Let’s set aside our emotions and egos and just keep pushing toward the very top. That’s my message to you.

There’s no need to feel bad or blame yourselves for negative emotions. That’s just how it’s supposed to be. We’re putting too much energy and worry into this. Please treat each other as partners and teamates, and share your feelings.

You have the right to make mistakes. You have the right to be weak. That’s perfectly normal. Because if not today, then tomorrow, your teammate will be in your shoes. And when that happens, you need to be there for them and support them.”

Acording to a statement by Sebastian “Ceb” Debs, if a team loses morale after a loss to a clearly stronger opponent, it is admitting that it will never reach the required level. The esports player urged his teammates to set aside negative emotions and not to blame themselves for potential losses, acknowledging their right to make mistakes.
