Alexey “Lex” Filippov stated that Riyadh Masters 2025 falls short of the level of organization of the top tournament of the season. The commentator noted that the tournament is organized with flaws, despite its scale.

Alexey “Lex” Filippov also noted the weak performance of some of the tournament favorites, pointing out PARIVISION's uncertain performance in the group stage, while Heroic is showing strong growth in preparation, which was not expected from the team. Nevertheless, the commentator noted Team Liquid's lineup, calling the team the only stable participant in the tournament.

"Many of the top teams seem to be playing on autopilot. PARIVISION looks lost, while Heroic, on the contrary, looks like a top-6 team, even though they weren't even a dark horse before.

Everything is stable with Liquid. Perhaps the only ones who are keeping up the bar. I don't even want to talk about VP — you don't kick a man when he's down."
