Ilya "Kiritych" Ulyanov, the carry player of
Virtus.pro, admitted that the team has no expectations from the Elite League, but they prepared diligently for the tournament. However, he believes that VP might not show worthy results.
The esports player shared this during a post-match interview published on Twitch.
"Of course, we prepared for the tournament. We played pubs and had many official matches in qualifiers and tournaments. The preparation was in full swing. I assess the chances of winning like this: either we go all out, or we beat everyone. There are no specific expectations. We will prepare as usual, give our best, and fully dedicate ourselves to Dota"
It's worth noting that the team's debut was not very successful.
Virtus.pro had an advantage in the match against
Team Secret, but their opponents made a comeback and defeated VP with a score of 2:0.
Earlier, Clement "Puppey" Ivanov assessed his team's victory in the first match of the Elite League, modestly expressing about the team's success.
