BLAST Bounty Hunt - the first ever Dota 2 tournament

Winstrike holding received media broadcasting and sponsorship rights for the BLAST Bounty Hunt in the CIS region. This is the first-ever Dota 2 tournament from eSports operator BLAST.

BLAST Bounty Hunt will be held online on June 9 - 13. The prize pool of the tournament is $150,000. Russian broadcast will be organized by Maincast studio, with which Winstrike previously concluded an agreement.6 best teams from Europe will play in the tournament:

A new approach to the formation of the tournament bracket will give teams the opportunity to rank each other themselves, depending on their current skill. Participants from 3rd - 6th rank will play at the first stage. The winners will go to the next round, where the two strongest teams of the tournament will be waiting for them. All matches of Bounty Hunt will be held in the format: Bo3 series in the playoffs with the double-elimination bracket and the grand-final in Bo5.

In addition, BLAST provided a new system of dynamic winnings. Each team from 3rd to 6th position will start the tournaments with a starting amount of $15,000, and teams with 1st and 2nd rank - with $20,000. The winning team takes 40% of the opponent’s current win. Also, special challenges will be presented for participants during matches, that will allow them to earn extra prize upon to $45,000.

And finally, the tournament operator BLAST gives a unique opportunity to the viewers to show their activity during the tournament:
