Luca “Lukawa” Nasuashvili believes that instead of fixing the Hand of Midas bug, developers are making decisions to deprive cyber athletes of the opportunity to earn money.
The manager of
BetBoom Team shared the relevant opinion in his personal Telegram channel.
“Instead of income from Midas is fixed income in cybersports, a good patch.”
Valve decided to ban advertising and any sponsorship integrations for participants of The International 2024. Such an innovation caused a negative reaction from cybersports players, as it deprives teams of a significant source of additional income. The first bug with Hand of Midas allows players to gain unlimited gold, and the second bug discovered by players, which is most likely the one that Luca “Lukawa” Nasuashvili is talking about, allows to crash servers in Dota 2.
Earlier, Luca “Lukawa” Nasuashvili commented on the change of nicknames of Ilya “Yatoro” (Raddan) Mulyarchuk and Egor “Nightfall” (Saika) Grigorenko.
