Vitaly “Save-” Melnyk, the captain of
BetBoom Team, stated that he would have felt stronger emotions if the team had won the tournament with spectators.
The player shared a relevant opinion on YouTube.
“Actually, I wouldn't say I feel the emotions I would feel if we won the lan with spectators. Like it's a different emotion.”
The player also stated that he would have been more pleased with a win over
Team Falcons in the grand finals, as he feels a bit regretful due to the loss of Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko. According to Vitaly “Save-” Melnyk, he had an hours-long conversation with his former teammate after his move to
Tundra Esports, at the end of which the players mentioned the possibility of meeting in the grand finals.
“If I had beaten Falcons instead of Egor Nightfall, I would have been a lot more excited. It's a little sad that I won against Egor. After he and I went to different teams, we had a 5-hour conversation. He called me 2 months ago, invited me to play Deadlock, we talked for 5 hours. Our last words in the conversation, at 5-6 in the morning: “See you in the finals of tournaments”.
