A funny situation happened at the 2024 ESL One Birmingham DOTA 2 tournament when BetBoom Team accidentally didn’t ban Lifestealer but picked him as an opponent against OG.

This moment was captured on the official broadcast of the match and made all the spectators laugh.

It was done in the second map of the series, where they wanted to ban Lifestealer in the last second but pressed a button too late — already being in hero picking phase.

The enemies were entertained by this, and BetBoom Team had a funny decision: MieRo played as Lifestealer even if it’s not their type of heroes. Nevertheless, after losing against OG on third map, Betboom managed to win Tundra Esports in UB finals and will be facing them there.
