Best heroes of patch 7.40c: the new Dota 2 meta

The release of patch 7.40c instantly affected matchmaking and has already begun shaping a new Dota 2 meta, with three heroes emerging as clear leaders.

The strongest hero turned out to be Clockwerk, whose win rate started rising sharply and is now fixed at 53.68%. Notably, the hero was not affected by any changes in the gameplay update yet still managed to take the top position.

Right behind him is Legion Commander, who, despite receiving a small nerf to Duel, remains one of the best picks in matchmaking.

Rounding out the top three is Chaos Knight, who did not receive any changes either, but still ended up among the strongest heroes.
