The best esports game of the year has been named, and it's not Dota 2

Tactical shooter Valorant, created by Riot Games, won the Esports Awards 2023 nomination for the best esports game of the year.

It's worth noting that Riot Games took home several awards thanks to their team shooter, surpassing Valve with their creations Dota 2 and CS2.
