Dota 2’s current meta has experienced significant changes after the release of patch 7.36b. Some heroes with strong facets have incredibly high matchmaking win rates and are thus ideal for gaining MMR.
According to DotaBuff data, there emerged top five heroes with most useful facets which had excellent performance in matches. Despite several nerfs in patch 7.36b,
Axe still leads in winning rate due to One Man Army facet that makes him the strongest hero for solo play.
However, following closely is
Lifestealer with the Corpse Eater aspect. The hero has a good chance of surpassing
Axe in win rate soon due to a sharp rise in performance.
Best hero facets in Dota 2 patch 7.36b | ||
|---|---|---|
Hero | Facet | Win Rate |
| One Man Army | 55,31% |
| Corpse Eater | 55,17% |
| Spectral Blade | 55,12% |
| Abyssal Horde | 55,04% |
| Disorder | 54,78% |
Although
Underlord is not currently part of the Dota 2 meta, the hero with the Abyssal Horde aspect shows impressive performance in matchmaking, making him a highly promising choice for MMR climbing.
It's worth noting that previously Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak discovered two very good heroes on patch 7.36b for MMR gains
