Beastcoast was acquired by a major organization, creating a division in Dota 2

M80 has signed Beastcoast and its Dota 2 squad.

This was made public on the official page of the organization on X (Twitter).

“The deal encompasses purchasing major esports properties including world’s leading Dota 2 team, Pokemon the media business with more than 175 million yearly views, and there are major investments in M80 too. It means we will be best esports organization and rapidly growing in North America”

From the communication, it is clear that M80, if at all, is now looking to invest in the development of the Dota 2 division. In what remains uncertain, there are also changes of the competing tag from Beastcoast players to that of M80.
