Maksim ‘re1bl-A’ Afanasyev playing for Ban9PivoSamogon was invited to the said team by Dmitry ‘Korb3n’ Belov who seems to hint that they are part of the youth roster of
Team Spirit.
This information was unveiled by the esports player in the post-match interview of PGL Wallachia Season 3 qualifiers.
‘The plan was simple: play the qualifiers and see how it goes. I was invited two days before the first qualifiers. I agreed, and we played a couple of scrims. I guess it’s okay to say this now—Diman Korb3n invited me, and you can guess which organization this team might belong to’
Re1bl quite clearly shared that Korb3n worked to get the stack together and thus hinted that the team had a supreme connection with
Team Spirit. It is quite possible that Ban9PivoSamogon may substitute
Yellow Submarine in which case they would serve as the youth roster for the organization in Dota 2.
But then again this could be an issue for the team at PGL Wallachia Season 3. Ban9PivoSamogon and
Team Spirit are both of the teams that have slots at this tournament but the rules of the tournament state that the same organisation cannot enter twice. If this rule is in fact to be implemented by the organisers then it is likely Ban9PivoSamogon will not be able to enter the tournament.
Earlier Vladimir "Maelstorm" Kuzminov made a claim that
Team Spirit is using scouting software that aids them in selection of new players into their roster.
