Azure Ray announced that their mid player, Gu "Han" Jiahong, has sustained a serious injury and will be unable to compete in the Clavision Snow Ruyi Invitational. It is reported that Zeng "Ori" Jiaoyan will be his replacement.
This announcement was made on the club's official Weibo page.
"We regret to inform you that our second position player, Han, accidentally fell and broke his elbow. Han has received the necessary medical treatment, and according to the doctors' recommendations, he will need time to rest and recover, so he will not be able to participate in the upcoming Snow Ruyi Invitational.
In these circumstances, we had to make urgent changes to the team lineup. After careful consideration, we have decided that Ori will be the substitute player and represent Azure Ray at this tournament. As a member of our Team 3.0, we believe he will be able to quickly adapt to the new lineup and perform well in the competition.
Once again, we express our regret over this unfortunate incident and wish Han a speedy recovery! We also extend our sincere thanks to Jia Yang for stepping up and contributing to the team at this crucial moment before the tournament"
According to the team's statement, Han has suffered a serious elbow injury and now requires recovery. Due to this, the club had to make an urgent roster change shortly before the Snow Ruyi Invitational, which may impact the team's performance.
