Nikita “Pantomem” Balaganin stated that the opponents from
Tundra Esports underestimated
Aurora players in the group stage match of PGL Wallachia Season 4, because of which his team managed to win by implementing several effective ideas.
The corresponding statement was made by the player in Telegram.
“It was already easier on the second map. They underestimated us - they took
Medusa without banning
Anti-Mage. We still had a small idea with
Grimstroke. It worked out well, I think.
The third map was back and forth, although we led well on it. We did well to win a couple fights, get Roshan, and then legitimately finish the reel. Very happy.”
Also Nikita “Pantomem” Balaganin noted that he would have liked an absolute win for
Aurora in the last match, but still his team lost the first map to their opponents despite a good start. The player believes that for the first 15 minutes his team played well, but further on the opponents took the initiative because of a better draft.
“We beat Tundra with a score of 2:1. I would have liked it to be 2-0, but it is what it is. We shouldn't have given away the first card.
I think we played well for about 15 minutes on the first map, starting with leyning, and ending with movements and responses to their actions. It was just a little bit short. The closer to the leit, the stronger their heroes were.”
Recall that earlier Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov pointed out the main problem with
Aurora's lineup, pointing out the problem players.
