Aurora named the main reason for their elimination from The International 2025

Nikita “Pantomem” Balaganin said that on the second map of the elimination match against Nigma Galaxy, Aurora's players felt they were close to victory, but then made a series of mistakes that led to their defeat.

The player shared this on Telegram.

"Unfortunately, this is how my first The International ends.

On the second map, it seemed like the game was already easy, we could taste victory, that we would be playing in the playoffs on stage. But a series of mistakes led to us throwing the game. And then, when the game was already 50-50, the teamfight decided who would win — in the end, we lost."

After losing the second map, the team also missed their last chance to make it to the playoffs of The International 2025 due to an unsuccessful draft. Although the player believes that the team played well in the first half of the final map, Aurora was unable to turn the tide of the match in their favor.

"On the third map, I think we failed to build a comfortable draft because we didn't play so badly for the first 20 minutes, but then we just couldn't do anything. It seems like we drafted poorly, even though we didn't play so badly.
