Aurora explained why Compendium 2025 was the worst in Dota 2 history

Nikita “Pantomem” Balaganin considers Compendium 2025 to be the worst in Dota 2 history. The player does not believe that the TI14 prize pool will reach at least last year's level.

The player stated this on Telegram.

“This type of Compendium is worse than the previous ones for everyone: regular players, streamers, and esports players alike, as the likelihood that the TI14 prize pool will be at least as high as last year's is low.”

According to Nikita “Pantomem” Balaganin, last year's Compendiums gave players access to interesting content in the form of a full-fledged gaming event. However, this year, all the content consists of team bundles and predictions for TI14 match outcomes, for which you can receive rewards.

“Before, you could just play and go through the catacombs, there was some kind of event, there were treasure chests, but now there is nothing like that. In fact, the entire Compendium consists of content created by teams, as well as predictions. Now, in order to get good bonuses, you need to guess a lot of what will happen at the International, and that's a big random.”
