Ammar "ATF" Assaf, playing for Team Falcons, revealed that he previously couldn't afford Dota Plus, but still found a way to taunt opponents.

He shared this during a post-match interview at DreamLeague Season 22.

I figured out the meaning he was putting into it and started doing the same. It was a long time ago, about five years ago when I was playing at Ancient or Divine rank"

He admitted that he learned this trick from another player in matchmaking, and it became his favorite toxic gesture. However, he mentioned that he hardly does it anymore because many others started copying it, so it's not as amusing to him now.
