ATF commented on Team Falcons' defeats

Ammar 'ATF' Al-Assaf stated that Team Falcons had problems in their preparation for the tournament, which affected the first matches of the Riyadh Masters 2024. However, the cyber sportsman stated that he was even happy about the losing streak the team went through as it had a positive impact on the squad.

The Team Falcons offlayner shared his respective opinion in a post-match interview on the official Twitch broadcast of the tournament.

"Obviously there were a lot of problems. We were winning all the time and then one day we just play and lose 0:4, it was just crazy, which has never happened to us before.

We were having problems at the creams 3-4 days before the tournament started. That is probably what had an impact on the disappointing result.

After the bad start it was like we were more relaxed, we didn't flame each other at all after the losses. We just had fun as if nothing had happened.

We never had such an experience - losing 0:4. A lot of good things happened when we lost. In fact, I'm even glad we had a bad start, it gave us progress."

Team Falcons lost their first two matches of the second group stage of the Riyadh Masters 2024 against their main opponents in the group, namely: Team Spirit and Gaimin Gladiators. However, after the two defeats, the team was able to mobilise and win their next three matches, as well as draw with OG. Team Falcons have one last match left to play against Heroic, but according to the overall group statistics, the squad is guaranteed to qualify for the Riyadh Masters 2024 playoffs.

Earlier, Gaimin Gladiators carry Anton 'dyrachyo' Shkredov revealed who he borrowed strategies from to defeat Team Falcons.
