Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf, the offlaner for
Team Falcons, responded to Quinn "Quinn" Callahan's proposal, stating that Valve should ban all bug abusers except for professional Dota 2 players.
He made this statement in a comment on Quinn's post on his X (Twitter) page.
"I agree, but not in professional Dota, please"
He supported the idea that Valve should ban bug users, but exclude professional players from such bans. This stance is notable because ATF himself was found guilty of using the
Hand Of Midass bug to gain a massive amount of gold in at least three matches.
However, the likelihood of Valve banning one of the participants in The International 2024 just before the start of the tournament is extremely low, and Valve might only issue warnings if there is a wave of bans.
Recall that Quinn had proposed a radical measure to Valve, suggesting that all players who used the
Hand Of Midas bug be given a lifetime ban.
