Ammar "ATF" al-Assaf, a player from
Team Falcons, has said that Valve should remove
Eternal Shroud from Dota 2 promptly because it is too strong and breaks the game.
The words of the esports player were published on ESL's Twitter page.
“Eternal Shroud in the game is better removed today as well. It’s nearly as good as Wraith Pact already”
However, it can be considered that like its predecessor
Wraith Pact,
Eternal Shroud might go through the same process with its removal by Valve in future updates.

Moreover, there are times when the presence of
Eternal Shroud which makes mana regenerate extremely fast while playing against magic builds can greatly impair the equilibrium in Dota 2. But this matter has not been addressed yet by Valve. Probably, in next update developers will make some changes to this item so that it won’t be overpowered any longer. On top of that, though
Eternal Shroud had undergone certain modifications in patch 7.36a.
Let’s recall that earlier patch 7.36a was released and it once again changed Dota 2 meta and affected balance overall.
