The 2023 Asian Games, also known as Hangzhou 2022, have officially commenced. This grand sporting event includes the popular Dota 2 MOBA along with seven other esports titles. Interestingly, unlike previous editions of the Asian Games, Dota 2 medals will be counted towards each country's overall medal count.
The live competition is taking place in Hangzhou, China, specifically at the China Hangzhou Esports Centre. Dota 2 matches will be held from September 29 and will conclude with the final esports matches on October 2, 2023.
