Arteezy explained what prevents him from gaining MMR and addressed Valve

Artour “Arteezy” Babaev, a legend in the Dota 2 pro scene, emphasized that the rampant account boosting and selling of accounts is stopping him from increasing his MMR, thus asking the developers to do something about it.

This was voiced by him on his Twitch stream.

“Someone was just feeding like a madman. That shouldn’t be a scenario. The system is flawed, the game is completely broken–imagine having to go through that in every match. People are not playing at their true rating which is the root cause of all the issues. Because of this, every game is unplayable, along with the fact that it is near impossible to keep increasing MMR”

He tells that so many people are playing out of their actual rankings, and connects this to the Tokens. He claimed that people of his rank would not play the way his teammates do in matchmaking, thus linking it to the experience Token.

Arteezy claimed that he cannot increase his rank under these circumstances, because he is constantly matched against players who have boosted their accounts to ranks they do not deserve.

Earlier, there were rumors that Arteezy has formed a new team alongside RAMZES666 hoping to make a return into the Dota 2 professional scene.
