Ari spoke about playing with 33 in public matches

Matthew “ari” Walker considers Neta “33” Shapira a difficult teammate in public matches because the esports player is reluctant to engage in fights.

The player shared this opinion on YouTube.

“I think I can say that, while it’s not a problem for me personally, for other people, 33 is a pretty controversial teammate in public matches. The meta in public matches is constant fights, one after another. And if someone doesn’t jump into a fight, they ruin the game. But 33 jumps into matchmaking and just plays his own way, which is great in and of itself. But if his teammates in a public match aren’t ready to play that style, it can definitely lead to conflicts. And it seems to me that this is a pretty common situation.

Every time I watch him play in public matches, he’s typing something to his teammates, trying to explain to them how they should play, and they reply, “You’re a bot. Go fight. What are you doing, AFK farming?” And they don’t care at all about his achievements or what he’s accomplished. They just ignore it. But for some people, he’s definitely a rather controversial player.”

According to Matthew “ari” Walker, the current meta in Dota 2 matchmaking requires constant participation in fights, but Neta “33” Shapira isn’t in a hurry to join them, preferring to play in his own style. The esports player noted that he has seen teammates in matchmaking express dissatisfaction with Netta “33” Shapira’s play on more than one occasion.

As a reminder, Martin “Saksa” Sazdov previously spoke about disagreements with Netta “33” Shapira.
