The heroes of Arcane Season 2: new characters from League of Legends

In the second season of Arcane, the storyline of the main characters, Vi and Jinx, will continue, but the anime will also explore the stories of several other characters. Some of them will make their first appearance in the animated series based on League of Legends.

Which Characters Will Appear in the Second Season of Arcane

While there is not yet a complete list of characters since the second season has not been released, it is expected that a number of characters from the previous season will return, not just Vi and Jinx.

Currently, it is almost guaranteed that 10 familiar League of Legends characters will appear on screen in Arcane.

Although the official release of the series has not yet occurred, the trailer, storyline, and hints from Netflix suggest which League of Legends characters will appear in Season 2 of Arcane.

Warwick

Many speculate that Vander, who is the father of Vi and Jinx, will actually turn out to be Warwick. In the first season, this popular character was mentioned several times but did not receive a full story arc. It is possible that in Season 2, Warwick will have a more significant role in the narrative.

Ambessa

Additionally, Ambessa, who appeared in Act 3 of Season 1, may play a significant role. Riot Games previously announced that she would become a new champion in League of Legends, so she may receive more screen time in the new season.

Blitzcrank

Blitzcrank is a creation of Viktor that uses Hextech to clean the streets of Zaun. With his enhanced abilities, he aims to help the people of Zaun. Considering Viktor's backstory, we might see the creation of Blitzcrank in Arcane 2.

Camille

Camille, the last member of Clan Ferros, became half-machine after having her heart replaced with Hextech. Her connections to Viktor and potential role in the search for Jinx make her an excellent addition to the plot of the second season.

Darius

Darius, the Noxian warlord, might appear due to the mention of Noxian conflict in the first season. His brother Draven could also join him, given their dark and complex ties to Noxus.

Swain

Swain, a former general of Noxus, could be a key character if the second season focuses on the conflict in Noxus. His leadership and ambitions to expand Noxian influence make him an interesting character for further plot development.

Urgot

Urgot is another Noxian character who was betrayed and became an antihero after suffering in Zaun.

Twitch

Twitch, the plague rat, could serve as a minor antagonist. His connection to Chemtech and Silko's experiments in the first season creates a setup for his appearance.

Ren's Mother

Based on the trailer footage, Ren's mother, the daughter of the deceased enforcer Marcus, is also expected to appear. Marcus died due to an explosion caused by Jinx in Season 1, Episode 7. However, some believe it might not be her mother but Ren herself seeking revenge for her father's death, although this outcome is unlikely since, according to League of Legends lore, she was still a child at the time of her father's death.

Nevertheless, it is still unknown who will officially appear in the series until its full release in November 2024. It is also worth noting that Netflix has warned that not all episodes of Season 2 of Arcane will be available to viewers immediately, so the final episode will require some waiting.
