Anime didn't help! Average online Dota 2 decreased by 14 thousand players in March

According to Steam Charts, even after the release of the animated series DOTA: Dragon's Blood, the average online Dota 2 players in March 2021 decreased by 14 thousand users.

In March, a few days before the anime's release, SirActionSlacks released the «Dota Tutorial» to the public. This tutorial teaches players the basic mechanics of the game and prepares them for their first matches.

But immediately after that, along with the release of the Netflix series, Valve introduced its training system for new players, which consists of 4 levels.

And even the release of the anime and the long-awaited tutorial for beginners did not attract a new audience in any way.
