The newest gameplay patch of Dota 2 is expected to be launched in August after the end of Crownfall event, as Wang "Yuno" Jing and Chen "Zhou" Yao have reported.

This announcement was made by the streamers during a broadcast targeted at Chinese audiences while GregView posted a related thread for the English-speaking community on Reddit.

“Chinese official casters Yuno and Zhou confirmed on the streamer that the next gameplay update is coming sometime in August and will be huge.”

It’s not clear at this point how much weight should be given to this statement since different dates are being given by the community. Just recently, Former professional player Max “qojqva” Broker announced he would release a new letter patch right after PGL Wallachia Season 1 tournament ends.

Some people reacted negatively to the news. One user even left an angry comment, still some comments expressed clear distrust in this information.
