Ame surprised everyone with a sudden confession about Yatoro

Wang "Ame" Chunyu, the carry player for Xtreme Gaming, stated that Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk from Team Spirit is the player he respects the most in Dota 2.

The acknowledgment from the esports player came during an interview for the YouTube channel Ultimate Dota.

When Ame was asked which player he respects the most, he immediately mentioned Yatoro's name.

"Yatoro. What about xiao8? No, I won't say that about xiao8"

Interestingly, the legendary Dota 2 player hinted that this has nothing to do with the symbolic gesture of respect from Yatoro at The International 2023. Yatoro added the hieroglyph "rain" to his nickname to be engraved on the Aegis of Champions.

This hieroglyph is homophonic with Ame's nickname. In this way, he added the name of the Chinese player to the most prestigious award for Dota 2 players.

"I don't have any special feelings about it [adding his nickname to the Aegis of Champions thanks to Yatoro]"
