Ame shocked everyone with his admission about his relationship with Yatoro

Van "Ame" Chunyu, the carry for Xtreme Gaming, does not consider Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk a close friend but simply communicates with him as a fellow professional player, surprising the Dota 2 community.

The esports athlete made this statement during an interview with GosuGamers.

"I can't say that we are good friends in the sense that we talk a lot or hang out. We have normal relationships as professional players. Sometimes we talk on Steam, but no more than that"

This was an extremely unexpected statement, considering the admiration that Yatoro constantly expressed. Moreover, Ame himself had referred to Team Spirit carry as the most respected player in the Dota 2 community. Many fans genuinely believed that there was a strong friendship between the players, especially after Yatoro's symbolic gesture at The International 2023.
